I've seen the word "faggot" on Tumblr so many times lately.
That is not okay with me. Using that word is not okay, I don’t care if it’s in jest. People have that screamed at them as they are beaten to death. It shouldn’t be thrown around like it’s nothing.
It’s funny that you mentioned that [not funny but, you know, funny in that “OH, funny coincidence” way] cause some girl in my Chem class today was talking about her test grade, it was a bad grade, and how “gay” it was. And this other kid was like, “why are you using that word to describe something bad?” and she had no reply back. It just… it made me sad, how people toss that around without being sensitive and realizing what they’re saying.
Anyways, long story short, I’m sorry.
